I have been told that the night vision monocular was built by Raytheon corporation, unfortunately there are absolutely no markings inside or out on the device. The device is encased in corrugated metal with a black crinkle finish used in the late 60s and early 70s. This unit uses a storage battery charged by a crank handle Dynamo inside of the unit allowing it to operate without external battery replacement indefinitely when functioning. The storage battery no longer hold a charge, and because the Dynamo feeds directly to the storage battery the unit will not work. The IR source lamp works and takes two c batteries to operate.
